三重県水産研究所では、養殖カキの安定生産につなげるため、令和2年8月から、鳥羽市役所、鳥羽市水産研究所、志摩市役所、鳥羽磯部漁協、三重外湾漁協、カキ生産者と連携し、カキ養殖漁場の環境モニタリング調査を実施しています。

調査漁場は、県内の養殖カキの主漁場である鳥羽市と志摩市の以下の漁場です。（地名の後の数字は地点数です。）
鳥羽市：小浜（１）、桃取（１）、安楽島（２）、
　　　　浦村（３）
志摩市：的矢（２）、英虞湾（１）
